  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Design and Build

    Honda CB Hornet 160R

CB Hornet 160R is the sharpest looking motorcycle from HMSI in its segment. The front headlight is dominating and aggressive while the fuel tank is wide and edgy due to the tank extensions. The middle and tail section is sporty and houses the ‘X’ shaped tail light which further highlights the edginess in the design. The display console is fully digital and shows a plethora of information from speed and RPM to trip meter and time. Wide 17-inch tyres along with petal disc brakes at both ends and mono suspension at the back further enhance the sporty character of the motorcycle

  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Riding Ergonomics

    Honda CB Hornet 160R

The riding position is upright, but with the rear-set foot-pegs, adds a good dose of sportiness in the overall stance. The handlebar is wide, flatter and easy to reach putting the rider in a commanding position. Handlebar switches are easy to reach and operate without requiring any extra effort. While the styling is sharp and edgy, it doesn’t compromise on comfort. The seat is long and wide enough for the rider and pillion. The front and rear suspensions are well tuned for riding on changing road conditions providing an overall stress-free ride.

  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Engine

    Honda CB Hornet 160R

The 162.71cc engine in the CB Hornet 160R is the same as in the Unicorn 160 but tuned for more power and produces 15.66 BHP of power at 8,500 RPM and 14.76 NM of torque at 6,500 RPM. It is equipped with the latest Honda Eco Technology and so it doesn’t compromise on fuel efficiency for performance either. The power delivery is linear, friendly and the motorcycles goes past 100 kph without much effort.

  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Transmission

    Honda CB Hornet 160R

The 5-speed manual transmission is smooth and allows for positive gear changes. The gears are well spaced and contribute to the effortless nature of the engine even in tight traffic situations. The clutch is light and engages positively in all gears.

  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Braking and Safety

CB Hornet 160R lives up to its sporty character by incorporating petal style disc brakes on both wheels. The front is a bigger 276mm disc while the rear has the smaller 220mm rotor and both provide ample stopping power to slow down and bring the motorcycle to a complete stop under different circumstances. Honda’s Combi Brake System technology is also there for added safety which enables both brakes to function when only one is applied. Increasing the safety aspect further are the 17-inch tubeless tyres. While contributing to the sportier handling, tubeless tyres also ensure safety during a puncture as they do not deflate instantly.

  • Honda CB Hornet 160R Mileage

CB Hornet 160R’s engine is tuned more for performance, however, with the help of Honda Eco Technology (HET), the engine ensures good fuel efficiency as well.
