  • Honda CB Unicorn Design and Build

    Honda CB Unicorn

CB Unicorn is an exceptionally well-built motorycle. The fit-n-finish of parts and the overall quality is impressive to say the least and lives up to the Honda standards. However, the styling is mostly basic with a small bikini fairing, a streamlined fuel tank and the tail section. The seat is almost flat. The 3D emblem of the Honda wing on the fuel tank looks nice and adds a bit of premium-ness to the otherwise simple design. The motorcycle just looks solid and dependable. The instrument console is completely analogue with three dials showing speed, RPM counter and the fuel gauge. Other information includes total kms, trip meter, high beam indicator and left-right indicators.

  • Honda CB Unicorn Riding Ergonomics

    Honda CB Unicorn

CB Unicorn is one of the most comfortable motorcycles in its segment with an upright riding stance. The reach to the handlebar is easy and the foot-pegs are also positioned at a slightly forward position. The seat is a single piece unit and is almost flat resulting in all-day comfort for the rider and the pillion. Various handlebar switches are within reach and do not require any extra effort from the rider to operate. Although the suspension is non-adjustable, it does the job fine. The telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear offer plush and stable ride on changing road conditions.

  • Honda CB Unicorn Engine

    Honda CB Unicorn

CB Unicorn is powered by a 149.1cc bullet-proof engine. It is capable of producing 13.14 BHP of power at 8,500 RPM and 12.84 NM of torque at 5,500 RPM. These are not class-leading figures but the performance is brisk enough for city traffic. The emphasis is more on delivering easy power delivery with good fuel efficiency for people who are looking for a commuter but something more powerful than a 100cc or a 125cc motorcycle.

  • Honda CB Unicorn Transmission

    Honda CB Unicorn

CB Unicorn comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is smooth with positive up-shifts and down-shifts. The clutch is also light, engages nicely and plays a vital role in the overall flawless functioning of the gearbox.

  • Honda CB Unicorn Braking and Safety

CB Unicorn comes standard with a 240mm disc brake at the front while the rear remains drum. It’s a typical setup in this segment and it works fine for the given performance. However, the tube-type tyres at both ends are prone to instant deflation in case of punctures.

  • Honda CB Unicorn Mileage

CB Unicorn’s 149.1cc engine is frugal enough to deliver one of the best fuel efficiency in its class with competitive performance.
