Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices Highlights: The benchmark equity indices ended Thursday’s trading session in the positive territory. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 16.50 points or 0.07% to settle at 24,998.45, while the BSE Sensex jumped 144.30 points or 0.18% to 81,611.41. The broader indices ended in mixed territory, with gain led by Small-cap and Mid-cap stocks. Bank Nifty index ended higher by 523.90 points or 1.03% to settle at 51,530.90. Financial Services and Banking stocks outperformed among the other sectoral indices while Pharma and IT stocks shed.
Commenting on the Technical outlook of Nifty Kunal Kamble, Sr. Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza said that The market experienced selling pressure at higher levels and failed to hold onto intraday gains, with the Nifty 50 dipping just below the 25,000 mark, recording moderate losses. Although the index broke the pattern of lower highs observed over the last six trading sessions on the daily charts, it continued to form lower tops and bottoms on the weekly charts. If the index can stay above the 25,300-25,350 range, the trend could turn bullish. Otherwise, consolidation is likely, with support at 24,700.
WTI crude prices are trading at $73.86 up by 0.85%, while Brent crude prices are trading at $77.25 higher by 0.86%, on Thursday morning.

Ola Electric may be headed for a rough ride. The company may face a class action suit by the Consumer Affairs Ministry under the Central Consumer Protection Act (CCPA). Consumer Affairs secretary, Nidhi Khare told Fe on Wednesday that the ministry has initiated a class action against the company by issuing a notice to Ola on October 3 about deficiency in services, misleading advertisement, violation of consumer rights, and unfair trade practices.
Ratan Naval Tata, the titan of the Indian industry and chairman emeritus of the Tata Group, died late Wednesday night at the age of 86. He had been undergoing treatment for a prolonged illness at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for the last few days.
