The Tata Bolt comes with a petrol and a diesel engine choice on offer. The petrol 1193cc engine produces 90PS of power and 140Nm of torque, while the diesel 1248cc engine produces 75PS power and 190Nm of torque. Both the petrol and the diesel engine feels refined and runs smoothly throughout the rev range.
The Tata Bolt comes with a five speed manual transmission which offers smooth transition between gears and is not notchy at all. There is a good amount of torque present which aids in the driveability of the car.
