Kawasaki Ninja 400

Kawasaki Ninja 400 is Japanese manufacturer’s answer to the growing competition in the middleweight sportsbike segment. The motorcycle is on sale in India alongside its younger sibling, Ninja 300 and is close to Rs 1 lakh pricier than the latter. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets power from a 399cc, parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox that also gets a slipper clutch. The fuel injected motor produces a maximum power output of 45 bhp along with a peak torque of 38 Nm. The motorcycle gets a 310mm disc brake up front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear and these further come linked to an ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is equipped with 41mm conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear is taken care of by a monoshock. The motorcycle gets full LED headlamps and the styling is inspired from the top-of-the-line Ninja H2. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is currently available at the dealerships at a price of Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
