  • Kawasaki Z900 Design and Build

    Kawasaki Z900

Z900 is a naked streetfighter and an all-new motorcycle intended to replace the Z800. The bodywork is curvy and sharp at the same time giving an athletic appeal to the overall design. The headlight is minimalistic more in the lines of the Z1000 but simpler in looks. The seats are split and the tail section is absolutely tiny majorly contributing to the compactness of the design. The build quality is fantastic as expected from an international giant like Kawasaki.

  • Kawasaki Z900 Riding Ergonomics

    Kawasaki Z900

The riding position is upright with a little lean forward for an aggressive stance. The rider holds a flat handlebar for a commanding position while the various switches remain within easy reach. The foot-pegs are rear-set as well for an overall sporty riding position. The seat height is relatively low at 790mm inspiring confidence to shorter riders. The comfort is well taken care of as the suspension at both ends is adjustable allowing the riders to set it up according to their preference.

  • Kawasaki Z900 Engine

    Kawasaki Z900

Z900 comes with a 948cc inline 4 liquid-cooled DOHC 16-valve engine which is capable of producing 125 PS of power at 9,500 RPM and 98.6 NM of torque at 7,700 RPM making it one of the best performers in its class. The power delivery is linear and an uninterrupted flow of acceleration throughout the rev-range including a fantastic inline 4 sound.

  • Kawasaki Z900 Transmission

    Kawasaki Z900

Z900 comes with a 6-speed transmission to extract all the power from the inline 4 unit. The gearshifts are exceptionally smooth and it is one of the best gearboxes in business. It now comes with an Assist & Slipper clutch which makes the clutch action light and prevents rear from becoming unstable under heavy downshifting.

  • Kawasaki Z900 Braking and Safety

Z900 is equipped with dual 300mm discs at the front with 4-piston caliper while the rear makes do with a single 250mm one with a single-piston caliper. There's good bite and feedback from the rotors while the inclusion of ABS further improves the overall braking performance. Tubeless tyres also add their own safety as they do not deflate instantly in case of a puncture.

  • Kawasaki Z900 Mileage

Z900 comes with a 17 litres of fuel tank capacity with an expected range of around 340 km in one full tank.
