The Nifty is trending higher, hovering around 25,140, while the Sensex climbed 260 points in an attempt to steady itself above the 82,000 mark. The session has assumed greater significance because Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to report its Q2 results.

That apart there are some other key buzzers in today’s session as well. Here is a look at the  top movers and shakers at this hour:

Lupin

The share price of Lupin surged 4 percent after the company revealed plans to develop a new production facility in Coral Springs, Florida. The proposed site, spread over more than five acres and covering 70,000 square feet, will involve a cumulative investment of USD 250 million over the next five years. Once operational, the plant will produce over 25 critical respiratory medicines, including albuterol inhalers for asthma patients. 

Prestige Estates

Prestige Estates Projects share price jumped over 3% after the company reported record half-yearly sales of ₹18,143.7 crore in H1 FY26, surpassing its entire sales of FY25. It has also achieved 69% of the FY26 sales guidance. Key brokerage houses like Nomura and Nuvama have put a Buy rating on the stock. 

Senco Gold 

Senco Gold came under pressure despite reporting higher revenue, with the stock down 3.52%. The market’s reaction suggested unease about margins even though performance on the topline was reasonably strong. In the first half of FY26, revenue increased by 17.8 percent year-on-year, supported by a 16 percent rise in the retail business and a same-store sales growth of 7.5 percent. The second quarter alone showed a revenue jump of 6.5 percent. During this period, Senco launched five new showrooms, expanding its total retail network to 184 stores. The management has laid out plans to add another seven to eight outlets across the third and fourth quarters to meet its full-year target of 20 showrooms.

Jindal Group stocks

Shares of four BC Jindal Group companies Jindal Photo, Jindal Poly Investment and Finance, Jindal Poly Films, and Jindal Worldwide jumped between 10 -20 percent intraday on Thursday. The move was supported by unusually strong trading volumes, indicating heightened investor interest across the group’s counters.

TCS 

The share price of TCS were marginally higher, up 0.61%. The move was restrained, but it came with weight, as the company will release its Q32FY26 earnings after market hours. TCS, being India’s largest IT services exporter, sets the tone for the entire sector. The board is also scheduled to consider a second interim dividend for FY26. Investor focus will be on the sustainability of client spending, currency headwinds, and deal momentum, alongside headline revenue and profit numbers

Tata Elxsi 

Tata Elxsi witnessed gains in early trade. The share price of Tata Elxsi clocked  1.20%  ahead of the Q2 numbers. This Tata Group stock is also set to announce numbers today.  The counter touched an intra-day high of Rs 5,606.95 and a low of Rs 5,435.00, reflecting intraday volatility.
