Lok Sabha Election 2024, Uttar Pradesh Result 2024 Live Updates: Uttar Pradesh has spoken! Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party has simultaneously surprised and shocked everyone by winning 37 seats, making it the single party in the state to send highest number of MPs to the Lok Sabha. The Congress, which joined forces with the SP, won six seats as part of the INDIA bloc. Altogether, the opposition group INDIA won 43 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which was in a tough race with the SP, only got 33 seats, a big drop from the 63 seats they won in 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi won in Varanasi, but with a smaller margin of over 1.5 lakh votes compared to before. Another major setback for the BJP was Smriti Irani losing the Amethi Lok Sabha seat by over one lakh votes.

After initial scare, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has registered a thumping win from Varanasi by a margin of 1.5 lakh.
Latest TV reports say that top Uttar Pradesh BJP leaders including deputy CM Dinesh Sharma are meeting at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence in Lucknow. The meeting comes amid stunning turn of political fortunes for the saffron party in 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results.
At present, INDIA Bloc is leading on 41 seats. On the other hand, NDA is leading on 38 seats.

Congress leader Ujjwal Raman Singh is leading in Allahabad by the margin of over 24,000 votes.
Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Soneylal) is leading from Mirzapur by a wafer-thin margin of 131 votes. Apna Dal (Soneylal) is an alliance partner of NDA.
PM Modi and CM Yogi held public meetings in Saharanpur, Meerut, Pilibhit, Aligarh, Mirzapur/Robertsganj, Agra, Amroha, Etawah, Lalganj, Varanasi, Basti, Barabanki, Ghazipur, according to an official note. Now, the official Election Commission updates aare coming in! In Uttar Pradesh, BJP leads in 6 Lok Sabha seats, SP in 5 and Congress in 2, according to initial trends of 13 seats in state on EC website – result.eci.gov.in.
In Shahjahanpur, BJP‘s Arun Kumar Sagar claimed victory even before the counting of votes began. ‘Thanking’ the people of Shahjahanpur, he even expressed his gratitude for electing him for the second time.
Ground reports from Amethi say that counting is underway in Amethi’s Jagdishpur and Smriti Irani is leading with 3,000 votes.
First trends that are coming in show that BJP is leading on 53 seats across Uttar Pradesh.
