Tata, 86, passed away late Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Gadkari, who has known Tata for over 30 years, noted that he gained invaluable insights from their relationship.

Jyotiraditya M Scindia gave his condolences and said that it was an end of an era. Anand Mahindra too took to X and expressed that he was unable to fathom the news of Ratan Tata passing away. “I am unable to accept the absence of Ratan Tata.
