The C-Class is a luxury sedan offered by Mercedes-Benz India. It is powered by two petrol and one diesel engine. The diesel engine has been tuned to two different states of tune and one of the petrol engines is a V8 AMG tuned motor. While the standard versions are offered with Obsidian Black, Iridium Silver, Cavansite Blue, Citrine Brown, Polar White and Tenorite Grey exterior colour options, the AMG variant is available with Brilliant Blue as well. The AMG version is also available with a choice of 19 inch alloy wheel designs. In addition to the list of standard features, additional accessories such as back illuminated three pointed star on the front grille, chrome door handles, sport pedals and Garmin Map Pilot.

    In terms of dimensions, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class measures 4,686 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, 1,442 mm in height for the standard variants and 4,756 mm in length, 1839 mm in width and 1,426 mm in height. The LED intelligent Light System automatically adapts to the driving conditions. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are electrically foldable and adjustable on all variants.

    The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is offered with two petrol engines and one diesel engines. While the diesel engines are available with two states of tune, one of the petrol engine is a V8 engine and the other is an inline four cylinder unit. The diesel engine, in one state of tune generates 170 hp of power from 3,000 rpm to 4,200 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,400 rpm and 2,800 rpm. In the second tune the same diesel engine produces 204 hp of power at 3,800 rpm and 500 Nm of torque from 1,600 rpm to 1,800 rpm. The four cylinder petrol engine churns out 184 hp of power 5,500 rpm and 300 Nm of torque from 1,200 rpm to 4,000 rpm. The V8 petrol engine generates 510 hp of power between 5,500 rpm and 6,250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque from 1,750 rpm to 4,500 rpm.

    While the inline four cylinder petrol engine is mated to a 7G-DCT 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission, the AMG is offered with a AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. The C 220d is paired to a 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission while the C 250d diesel engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
