Tata Motors has done it again in June — lead car sales with the Tata Punch on top of the list. That said, Tata Motors has also achieved a milestone of having a total of 20 lakh SUVs on the road, which include older models like the Sierra and Safari, alongside newer models such as the Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and the latest Safari.
To celebrate this, Tata is offering special discounts on the Hrrier and Safari till the end of the month, while the Nexon and Punch EVs also get discounts, though they are popular models. Let’s take a look at what discounts the Tata Nexon and the Punch get for July 2024.
Tata Nexon EV discounts in July 2024
The Tata Nexon has been a popular model for the carmaker, consistently being amongst the top 10 selling vehicles month-on-month. However, in the last few months, the Nexon has seen a drop in sales, and in May 2024, the Nexon failed to even make it to the top 10 list. In June, the Nexon barely made it to the list, while witnessing a YoY decline.
Moving on to the discounts, Tata Motors, to celebrate selling 20 lakh SUVs, if offering benefits worth Rs 1.3 lakh on the Nexon EV Empowered+ LR and Empowered+ LR Dark variants, while the other variants get a discount between Rs 50,000 and Rs 70,000.
Tata Punch EV discounts in July 2024
The Tata Punch has proven to be a popular product in India, owing to its size, features, pricing, and most importantly, its powertrain options — ICE and EV. The latter has gained a lot of traction since its launch and combined, Tata Motors sold 18,238 units in June 2024, witnessing 66% YoY growth.
For July 2024, the Tata Punch EV gets discounts and benefits ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 30,000. The Tata Punch EV’s prices start at Rs 10.98 lakh and is available in a total of 20 variants.
