Tata Motors has generated quite a bit of buzz ahead of the launch of Curvv by sharing multiple teasers of the coupe SUV on the company’s social media handles over the past few days. As per the latest development, the upcoming crossover will break cover, both in combustion and fully-electric derivatives, on July 19.
That said prices for the same will be announced on August 7 while official bookings are expected to commence on the same date. A concept of the Curvv was displayed to the public at last year’s Auto Expo followed by another closer to production-spec prototype presented at the inaugural edition of Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year.
Tata Curvv: Exterior design
Tata’s upcoming Curvv is set to make a strong impression with its modern design and advanced features. Following the footsteps of its successful SUV siblings, the Harrier, Safari, Nexon, and Punch.ev, the Curvv embodies Tata’s new design philosophy. However, the biggest highlight is the sporty silhouette with coupe roofline courtesy of a sharply receding roofline.

The exterior is a blend of sporty and elegant elements. Sleek LED strips and dual-projector headlamps dominate the front, while muscular wheel arches and a sharply sloping roofline create a dynamic profile. The rear echoes the front with a connected LED strip and a prominent spoiler.
Tata Curvv: Interiors & Features
Inside, the Curvv boasts a minimalist yet sophisticated cabin. Physical buttons have been replaced with touchscreens, giving it a clean and modern look. A large infotainment display takes centre stage, supported by a digital instrument cluster, powered ORVMs, auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree surround camera, push-button start, and wireless smartphone charging and a futuristic two-spoke steering wheel.

Passengers can enjoy features like ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and premium sound. Safety package on offer will consist of Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) featuring adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane change warning, automatic emergency braking, etc..
Tata Curvv: Powertrain specs
Under the hood, the Curvv offers a choice of electric and petrol/diesel powertrains. The electric version, built on Tata’s new Acti.ev platform, promises a range of 400-500 kilometers on a single charge and options for both front-wheel and all-wheel drive. For those who prefer conventional engines, the Curvv will utilise the familiar 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel units from the Nexon, albeit with increased power. Transmission options are expected to include manual, automatic, and dual-clutch transmissions.
