The Auto Expo 2025, hosted by SIAM from 17 to 22 January, was a fan fare for all automobile enthusiasts across the country with plenty of new models displayed across the various pavilions. Now part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, let us look at the top five vehicles which made their debut at the Auto Expo 2025 that trended the most on Google in January.

1. Hero Xpulse 210
Hero Xpulse is a very popular name since it’s the most affordable adventure tourer in the country. However, lack of power has always plagued what is otherwise a very capable and brilliant entry-level adventure. Hero MotoCorp addressed this challenge by providing a more powerful 210cc liquid-cooled engine which kicks out 24.2 bhp and a peak torque of 20.7 Nm. This motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

2. Suzuki e Access
The Access is a very popular name in the petrol scooter space and Suzuki wants to capitalise on this nameplate in the EV segment as well. Hence, unveiled the all-electric e Access at Auto Expo 2025 which garnered a lot of attention in the physical as well as the virtual world. The e Access packs a 3.07kWh battery pack with a claimed IDC range of 95 km. The battery-powered scooter can clock a top speed of 71 kmph. Suzuki is expected to announce prices for the same in the next couple of months.

3. Hyundai Creta Electric
The biggest highlights from the entire Auto Expo 2025 was arguably the Hyundai Creta Electric. The Korean carmaker launched the battery-powered Creta at an introductory starting price of Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Creta EV is offered with two battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The 51.4 kWh long-range variant delivers 169 bhp, accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 7.9 seconds, and offers a range of 473 km. Meanwhile, the 42 kWh version produces 133 bhp and provides a range of 390 km.

4. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
We also saw another immediate rival of the Creta Electric being unveiled at the Auto Expo 2025 in the form of Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. After breaking cover at EICMA 2024, the e Vitara enthralled audiences at the Expo where several details were revealed. The electric SUV will be available with two battery packs – 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The former makes 142 bhp and 192.5 Nm of torque while the latter makes 172 bhp and the same amount of torque. Bookings for the same are currently open at a token amount of Rs 25,000.

5. Tata Sierra
The all-electric Harrier was not the only bomb dropped by Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2025. The company brought back the Sierra from the dead after nearly 3 decades. Tata Motors will introduce the reincarnated Sierra in both ICE and EV avatars. More specific details regarding the Sierra will be available when it nears market launch, most probably around the festive season in 2025.
