Delhi AQI worsens, slips from ‘poor’ to ‘severe’ category just before Diwali
Air quality in Delhi-NCR has worsened to "severe" levels, with the AQI reaching 295 and 274 in the city. Several areas recorded hazardous levels, and breathing the air is equivalent to smoking six cigarettes a day. The situation is similar in neighboring areas like Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida.
