The markets are flat in afternoon trade. The Nifty is hovering around the 26,200 levels while the Sensex held marginal gains. Neither index saw any dramatic movement, but several individual stocks are in focus-

Mahindra & Mahindra

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra gained 2.38% after the automaker unveiled the XEV 9S, a seven-seater electric SUV. The company priced it at Rs 19.95 lakh. The company has been on a launch offensive in recent months and has been gradually increasing its market share. All eyes are now on how this new launch can add to the volumes. 

GAIL

GAIL fell over 4% after the PNGRB approved a pipeline tariff of Rs 65.69/MMBtu, well below the Rs 78 the company had lobbied for. The approval also kicks in only from January 1, 2026, not a year earlier as GAIL had sought. 

Adani Enterprises

The Adani Enterprises share price surged over 3% . This is on the back of two new developments- Adani Airport Holding, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has taken over the operational control of AGHPort Aviation Services. 

Additionally, Adani Group will acquire 72% in the Flight Simulation Technique Centre giving a boost to ‘Make in India’ 

Studds Accessories

Studds Accessories slipped 0.75% after reporting its September-quarter earnings. The numbers were decent a 17.9% rise in net profit and 6.5% revenue growth but investors had priced in stronger momentum heading into the festive season.

Thyrocare

The Thyrocare share price has seen sharp movement in today’s trade as the stock began trading ex-bonus. It had announced a 2:1 bonus issue. This meand the company gave 2 shares for every 1 held. The stock turned ex-bonus and the share price adjusted to the changed dynamics.  The sudden 65% drop does not indicate any decline in the value of the stocks. The allotment date of the bonus issue is on December 1, and the bonus shares will begin trading on December 2.
