The headline indices- Sensex and Nifty are likely to open positive tracking positive US market and SGX Nifty. SGX Nifty was trading at 11,384.50 points, marginally up by 0.01%. The Sensex closed at 37,752.17 points, 216.51 points higher than the previous close and Nifty 50 also closed higher at 11,341.70 marginally higher than the previous close on Wednesday. SpiceJet: SpiceJet will seek compensation from Boeing for the damages it had to incur for the 12 grounded 737 MAX aircraft, according to media reports.

Jet Airways: Debt-laden airline Jet Airways will be in focus today following  The Economic Times report that it has begun making payments in the past two months after missing in December and it has become standard account for most of the lenders.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises: According to media reports, Japanese company Sony Corp is in advanced talks with Subhash Chandra-led company to buy 20-25% stake in the latter.

Reliance Industries : Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries will assume focus after global firm Morgan Stanley retained an outperform rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 1,230.

Yes Bank: Yes Bank shares will be in focus, after Deutsche Bank maintained a buy call on the shares with a target price of Rs 300.
