Elections 2024 Result Highlights: Mahayuti gets stunning mandate in Maharashtra, Hemant Soren’s JMM-led alliance defeats BJP in Jharkhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to Baba Kedar and the people of Kedarnath for supporting BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal in the assembly by-elections. He also congratulated Prime Minister Modi for the BJP’s success in Maharashtra. Dhami highlighted that this victory in Kedarnath is a triumph for the people, emphasizing the development efforts initiated by PM Modi, particularly the renovation of Baba Kedar Dham following the 2014 disaster. In Dahisar, BJP‘s Manisha Chaudhuri leads by 51,186 votes after 11 rounds, while Sanjay Upadhyay of BJP is in the lead by 59,831 votes in Borivali after 14 rounds. BJP’s Atul Bhatkhalkar is leading in Kandivali (East) by 46,065 votes. In Charkop, Yogesh Sagar (BJP) holds a 44,788 vote lead after 13 rounds, and Vinod Shelar (BJP) is ahead by 7,450 votes in Malad (West) after 9 rounds.

The vote counting for nine Uttar Pradesh Assembly seats in the 2024 elections is in progress. Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde stated that the final results should be awaited before any decisions are made.
