Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is an entry level compact crossover that has been designed and developed completely in house by Maruti Suzuki. The S-Presso is basically the production version of the Maruti Future S concept model that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is expected to draw power from a 1.0-litre three cylinder petrol engine that will come mated to both, a five-speed manual transmission and AMT. The Maruti S-Presso is expected to return a fuel efficiency of close to 24-25kmpl. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is all set to be launched in India on 30th September. Maruti Suzuki’s first ever SUV styled hatch will go up against the likes of the Datsun redi-GO and the Renault Kwid in the segment.

The S-Presso comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which offers Android Auto and Apple Car Play support.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Exterior
The exteriors of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso take inspiration from the Future S concept which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. Up-front, it gets compact headlamps with halogen units. LED daytime running lights are only available as an additional accessory. The side profile comes with swelled wheel-arches while the shoulder line is slightly curvaceous. The S-Presso comes with pull-type door handles and skips alloy wheels even on the top-spec trim. At the back, the S-Presso comes with compact-wraparound tail-lamps and an otherwise simple layout.

The cabin of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso features a modern dashboard layout. It gets an all-black colour scheme along with silver coloured accents which create a contrasting effect. The instrument cluster in the S-Presso is mounted on the centre console along with the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The micro-SUV gets an all-black fabric upholstery with contrasting pattern. top-spec trims of the S-Presso comes with steering mounted audio and telephony controls but misses out on electrically adjustable ORVMs. Also, there is no automatic climate control on offer and the rear windows do not get power operation.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Engine
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine under its hood. This engine is capable of churning out 67 hp of power along with 90 Nm of peak torque. This is the same engine which currently available on the lower-spec trims of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR. However, for the S-Presso, the same has been updated to meet the upcoming BS-6 emission regulations.
