Maruti Suzuki Swift has been upgraded to meet the BS6 emission norms. The BS6 Swift continues to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol with no changes in power and torque output. However, the company has not upgraded the 1.3-litre diesel engine to BS6 and it has been discontinued. The 1.2-litre petrol engine generates 82hp and 113Nm mated to 5-speed manual and AMT transmission. Apart from this, the BS6 Maruti Suzuki Swift has received new safety features such as passenger seatbelt reminder, a speed alert system, and rear parking sensors as standard. The BS6 Maruti Suzuki Swift price starts at Rs 5.19 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.02 lakh, ex-showroom.
