Ford EcoSport
The 2017 Ford EcoSport is a sub-compact SUV that is now being offered in two engine options viz a 1.5 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel. While the 1.5 litre petrol motor is available with a choice of automatic and manual transmissions, the 1.5 litre diesel comes with a manual gearbox only. All variants of the new Ford EcoSport come with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and dual front airbags are also standard across all versions. The sub-compact SUV also comes with side and curtain airbags in the top end titanium+ trim. Besides, emergency assist, auto door unlock on crash and rear parking sensors can also be found on the higher variants. The new Ford EcoSport has an all black interior theme for a sporty appeal and the rear seats split in a 60:40 format for flexibility between additional boot volume and rear seating. The higher trims also come with alloy wheels as compared to a steel rim with a full wheel cover for the lower ones.

The Ford EcoSport measures 3,998 mm in length, 1,765 in width and 1,647 mm in height. All variants of the compact SUV come with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) along with follow me headlamps, body coloured bumpers, rocker claddings and rear defogger. The higher variants come with body coloured door handles, chrome front lower and upper grille, rear wiper with washer, signature lightguide, silver painted roof rails and front and rear fog lamps. The roof rails are being offered in the top three Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+ variants

The compact SUV offering from Ford EcoSport comes with an two tone interior theme which exudes a sporty appeal since it has a combination of light grey and black for the lower variants and dark grey/black for the top end Titanium+ trim. The Ford EcoSport also has driver’s seat height adjust, driver’s armrest, under passenger seat storage, illuminated passenger vanity mirror, load compartment light and reclining rear seats for the higher variants. In terms of convenience, the Ford EcoSport also has automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, steering wheel audio controls, sunglass holder, rear package tray and rear seat armrest with cup holders. The new 2017 Ford EcoSport draws its power from a 1.5 litre, three-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engines. While the petrol motor cranks out respective power and torque outputs of 122 hp at 6,500 rpm and 150 Nm at 4,500 rpm, the diesel mill is good for 99 hp at 3,750 rpm and 205 Nm at 3,250 rpm
