The Ford Figo is a hatchback offered by the American carmaker which is powered by three engine options, a 1.2 litre petrol, 1.5 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel. The 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines have a 5 speed manual gearbox while the 1.5-litre petrol engine gets an AMT. The higher variants of the Ford Figo hatchback comes with ABS (Anti locking Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), six airbags and traction control. Ford says that it has implemented close to 1200 changes on the new Figo facelift. The new model has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ford Figo challenges the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Volkswagen Polo in the segment.

The Ford Figo comes standard with headlamp leveling and rear fog lamps on all trims. The higher Titanium and Titanium+ variants also get front fog lamps and rear defogger. While the lower versions get black door handles, the higher variants get body coloured ones. The hatchback measures 3,886 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,525 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,491 mm. The Ford Figo hatchback has a minimum turning radius of 4.9 metres and has a boot space volume of 257 litres. The small car from Ford has 14-inch alloy wheels for the higher trims and steel rims for the lower versions. The top end Titanium Blu variant gets 15-inch alloy wheels along with some blue inserts on the exterior.
The interior of the Ford Figo hatchback comes in an all black theme with piano black inserts and fabric seat upholstery on all variants. Each door pocket has space to keep at least one bottle and the centre console also has three cup holders. The higher variants get automatic climate control while the lower trims gets manual air conditioning unit. The higher variants also get electically adjustable and foldable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors). While the Trend and Titanium trims get a MyFord Dock with bluetooth connectivity, the Titanium+ version gets 4.2 inch multi function display along with SYNC AppLink that also has voice control. Additionally, the Titanium Blu variants sports some blue accents.
The new 2019 Ford Figo facelift hatchback is powered by three engine options. First, the 1.2-litre three cylinder petrol engine is good for developing respective power and torque outputs of 96 bhp and 120 Nm. On the other hand, there is a 1.5-litre petrol engine on offer that develops 123 bhp and 150 Nm. Last, there is a 1.5-litre diesel engine on offer that is good for churning out 100 bhp of power and 215 Nm of torque.
The Ford Figo has a choice of manual and automatic gearboxes. The 5-speed manual transmission is available on the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine options. The 1.5 litre petrol powered Ford Figo comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Ford Figo hatchback has traction control, six airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), hill start assist, keyless entry, immobiliser and Ford MyKey for the higher variants of the small car offering.
The Ford Figo hatchback has a claimed fuel efficiency/mileage of 18.16 km/l for the petrol engine options and 25.83 km/l for the diesel engine options. For its segment, these mileage figures are acceptable.
