Maruti Suzuki entry-level hatchback, Alto 800 has received mechanical and cosmetic updates. It is powered by a BS6 compliant 796cc, a three-cylinder engine that generates 47hp of power and 69Nm torque figures. In addition, it comes with a company fitted CNG kit with a petrol engine in two variants- LXi and LXi(o). For the CNG variant, the power figures go down to 40hp and 60Nm. It also gets a bunch of safety features driver airbag, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, and speed alert system as standard. The BS6 Alto 800 offered in standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi plus variants. The price range starts at Rs 2.95 lakh for the base variant and goes upto Rs 4.36 lakh for VXi plus trim.
