Yamaha YZF R3
Yamaha YZF-R3 was re-launched in India at Auto Expo 2018 with better features and a B-IV compliant engine. The motorcycle was discontinued from India with the onset of BS-IV emission norms. The new Yamaha YZF-R3 gets power from the same 321cc, parallel twin engine mated to a six-speed transmission. The engine is good for producing respective power and torque outputs of 41 bhp and 27 Nm. The braking to the new R3 is done with the help of a 298mm disc brake up front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear. An ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) now comes standard to offer added safety and a more effective braking. The bike also gets grippier Metzeler tyres for better performance. The Yamaha YZF-R3 has a digital analog instrument cluster that has a neat and easy to read interface. The new Yamaha YZF-R3 is priced in India at Rs 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Yamaha YZF R3 Braking and Safety
The Yamaha YZF-R3 has been fitted with a 298mm disc brake at the front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear. An Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is being offered as standard to offer a more effective braking. The bike also receives grippier Metzeler tyres that enhances the ride quality and performance of the motorcycle. The R3 also gets twin pod headlamps up front that offers a decent illumination in the dark.
