Chief Classic is the first motorcycle in the Chief range of the Indian line-up. Big, wide and heavy, the Chief Classic is a typical heavy-duty cruiser from the American bikemaker. The current generation Chief Classic is faithfully styled on the lines of the original Indian Chief. The design is extremely smooth and streamlined and offers a laid back riding experience with high and wide handlebar and footboards. Powered by an all-new Thunderstroke 1811cc engine which produces 73 BHP and 138.9 NM of torque, the Chief produces one of the most relaxed and stress-free power deliveries today. This state-of-the-art powerplant is housed inside an aluminium frame and the bike comes with ABS for safe braking under any condition.

Indian Chief Braking and Safety
An effective braking system is required to slow and bring down over 250 kg of bulk to a safe stop under different conditions. For this, the Chief Classic comes with 300mm dual disc brakes at the front with 4-piston callipers and a single 300mm disc at the rear with 2-piston callipers. Of course, ABS is standard.

With a generous 20.8 litres of fuel tank capacity, the Chief Classic ensures long riding sessions with fewer stops at the fuel pumps.
