Tata Motors has brought back the Dark Edition range for its SUV lineup. The all-black variants of Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier, and Safari were available in their pre-facelift iterations but weren’t upgraded when all these models received comprehensive upgrades last year. The Dark range starts with the Nexon Dark, priced Rs 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom), onwards.
The all-electric derivative of Nexon Dark is priced Rs 19.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. On the other hand, Dark Editions of Harrier and Safari are priced at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 26.99 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.

Tata Nexon Dark, Nexon EV Dark: Exterior & Interior
The exterior design of Nexon Dark and Nexon EV Dark showcases a bold and aggressive SUV style, characterised by a chiselled hood, sleek LED lamps, and a dynamic stance. The distinctive look is further enhanced by the exclusive Dark branding and the all-black exterior treatment.
The all-black treatment is carried forward inside the cabin as well with the leatherette seats adorned with the Dark badging embroidered on the headrests. In terms of features, both SUVs come equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman that gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and Amazon Alexa and Tata Voice Assistant with over 200 voice commands in six languages.
Other features include a fully-digital instrument panel, electric sunroof, JBL audio system, wireless phone charger, etc.
Tata Harrier Dark, Safari Dark: Exterior & Interior
The Harrier Dark and Safari Dark get the same all-black exterior treatment as the Nexon Dark and Nexon EV Dark ranges. Like the compact SUVs, the mid-size SUVs from Tata Motors get the ‘Dark’ branding, distinguishing itself from their corresponding regular models. Both SUVs get a bold piano black grille and ride on R19 alloy wheels featuring Aero inserts.
The cabin gets the same exterior treatment with signature Dark styling elements such as Bold Oberon paint scheme, Blackstone interior theme, and Piano black accents. Both models offer features such as dual-zone automatic climate, a touch-based central control panel with multifunction, and Leatherette seats adorned with the ‘Dark’ logo on the headrests.
Additionally, the Safari Dark offers comfort headrests in the 2nd row for added relaxation during long journeys, along with 2nd Row Ventilated Seats for increased comfort and convenience.
