Tata Motors is set to enter the mid-size SUV segment with its all-new Curvv. The company has unveiled the production version of the internal combustion engine version of this coupe SUV. It aims to compete with established models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun, among others. Tata Curvv ICE: Exteriors
The Curvv will be the first coupe SUV in its segment, but in August, Citroen will be launching its version, the Basalt. The Curvv has an imposing front fascia with a black grille and front bumper with design elements like the Harrier. With signature sleek LED DRLs, the Curvv could get sequential indicators, LED fog lamps, five-spoke petal design alloy wheels and connected LED tail lamps. It also sports a roof-mounted spoiler.
Tata Curvv ICE: Cabin

The Curvv ICE’s interiors will be based on the lines of the Harrier. It is expected to get a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a premium music system, iRA-connected car tech, multiple voice commands and a panoramic sunroof.
When it comes to safety, the Curvv will get Level 2 ADAS with functions like Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking -for both Pedestrian & Cycle, Forward Collision Warning, Rear Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition and much more. It is also expected to come standard with six airbags.
Tata Curvv ICE: Engine options
The Cuvv will offer multiple powertrains including the brand new 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol with an output of 123 bhp and 225 Nm of torque. It will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. At the unveil, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, … Curvv is at the forefront of our multi-powertrain strategy, with options across Petrol, Diesel and Electric powertrains.” Therefore, the Curvv will also get the 113 bhp 1.5-litre diesel from the Nexon.
