This puts the Kylaq on par with its direct competitors, the Tata Nexon and Mahindra 3X0, both of which also scored 5 stars. The Mahindra 3X0 earned an impressive 29.36 out of 32.00 in the Adult Occupant Rating and 43.00 out of 49.00 in the Child Occupant Rating. For the Adult Occupant Rating, the compact SUV scored 13.36 out of 16.00 in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test and a perfect 16.00 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test.
The 3X0 was impressive under the Child Occupant Rating as it was awarded a full 24.00 in Dynamic score, a full 12.00 for the CRS installation score and 07.00 out of 13.00 for Vehicle assessment score.
Tata Nexon: Safety Ratings

The Tata Nexon was the first compact SUV to receive a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. In the tests, the Nexon scored 29.41 out of 32.00 in the Adult Occupant Rating and 43.83 out of 49.00 in the Child Occupant Rating.
In the Adult Occupant Rating, it scored 14.65 out of 16.00 under the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test and 14.76 out of 16.00 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test. Under Child Occupant Rating, the Nexon achieved 22.83 out of 24.00 in Dynamic score, full 12.00 in CRS installation score and 09.00 out of 13.00 in Vehicle assessment score.
The Bharat NCAP ratings reveal that the Nexon edges out the Mahindra 3X0 in safety.
Skoda Kylaq: Bharat NCAP Ratings

Skoda has managed to blow the competition wide open with its Adult and Child Occupant Ratings. According to Bharat NCAP ratings, the Skoda SUV scored 30.88 out of 32.00 for adult occupant ratings and 45.00 out of 49.00 for child occupant ratings.
Under the Adult Occupant Rating, the Kylaq received 15.04 out of 16.00 in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test and 15.84 out of 16.00 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test. In the Child Occupant Protection category, it scored a maximum of 24.00 in Dynamic score, a full 12.00 in CRS installation score and 9.00 out of 13.00 in Vehicle assessment score.
Based on the points awarded by the Bharat NCAP, the Kylaq is currently the safest compact SUV in India.
