Tata Motors is further strengthening its position in the electric vehicle segment by unveiling the Harrier EV concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The e-SUV was first showcased in the Auto Expo last year. The Harrier EV is expected to make its debut sometime this year. Tata Motors has plans to have ten electric vehicles in its portfolio by 2025.
Here’s all you need to know about the Harrier EV.
Tata Harrier EV: Design
Sticking to its new design language, the Harrier EV has an LED DRL-connected strip across the bonnet lip. It continues to sport a split headlight design but now it’s further tweaked with vertically stacked LED headlamps. As it is an electric vehicle, it gets a closed front grille with a vertically designed front bumper with a grey-coloured faux skid plate. The Harrier EV’s side profile gets a nip-and-tuck job and a new set of alloy wheels. At the rear, the LED-connected tail lights are tweaked in design. The Harrier concept gets EV badging on the front doors to distinguish the EV from the ICE version.

Tata Harrier EV: Cabin and Features
The Harrier EV’s interior design is expected to be similar to its ICE version, but based on a modular platform, it could be more spacious. Going by the design trend by Tata, the Harrier EV could get two screens which include both a touchscreen and digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel like the Nexon EV and Punch EV, a new centre console with both touch and physical buttons, a front ventilated seats and all-wheel-drive switch. The Harrier EV will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS.
Tata Harrier EV: Specification
The Harrier EV is based on the all-electric Acti.ev architecture. This will benefit the e-SUV in terms of efficiency, flexible cabin space, battery capacity and enhancing the overall driving experience by having the option of an all-wheel-drive set-up. The Harrier EV is expected to return a range of 500km on a single charge.
