Pakistan PM Sharif threatens Delhi of ‘serious consequences’ over Indus Waters suspension
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued a warning to India, stating that his country will not allow any water to be taken away. This comes after other prominent figures in Pakistan, including the army chief and former foreign minister, also made similar threats. The Indus Waters Treaty, signed in 1960, divides the rivers between the two countries and has withstood numerous conflicts.
