The cremation took place later in the day in Mumbai’s Worli area. The last rites were also attended by top officials from the Tata Group. Mumbai Police joined the funeral ceremony by giving a gun salute to Tata. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were also present at the ceremony.
