The Kia Syros will sit in between the Sonet and Seltos in the carmaker’s lineup and bookings for the same will begin next month.

The Kia Syros features a distinctive design language with vertically-stacked headlights, an L-shaped tail lamp, flush door handles, skid plates at the front and rear, and flared wheel arches. The changes to the new Chetak are comprehensive.

However, the biggest change is the battery pack. The electric scooter now gets a 3.5kWh battery pack with a claimed IDC range of 153km. Maruti Suzuki revived the Grand Vitara name with its mid-size SUV that shares its platform with Toyota. The five-seater has seen decent success and banking on that, Maruti Suzuki is looking at a 7-seater version and the same has been spotted testing. Under heavy camo, the seven-seater version of the Grand Vitara seems to draw design inspiration from Maruti e Vitara.

There are not many details of the vehicles apart from the spy shots, which reveal the interior as well, which gets a free-standing infotainment system. Engine specifications are unknown at the moment and there is a high chance that Maruti Suzuki can use the 1.5-litre hybrid engine to power the seven-seater.
