Royal Enfield adventure motorcycle, Himalayan get BS6 compliant engine and new safety features. The BS6 Himalayan comes with switchable ABS, hazard light, and better side stand to park on any terrain. The BS6 engine is powered by a 411cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that generates .2hp of lesser power and same torque as BS4. It delivers an output of 24.3hp and 32Nm mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The kerb weight has also increased by 5kg, it is now 195kg. The 2020 Himalayan comes with new dual-tone colours rock red and lake blue, priced at Rs 1,91,401 lakh. In addition, it is available in snow white and granite paint schemes that are priced at Rs 1,86,811 and sleet & gravel colours come with a price tag of Rs 1,89,565. All the prices are ex-showroom.

In terms of braking and safety, the BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan comes equipped with 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes with switchable ABS. Also, it gets added safety features such as hazard light and an improved side stand.
