The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 hasn’t received any significant update while meeting BS6 emission norms. The BS6 engine gets an integrated catalytic convertor into the twin exhaust pipe. It is powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine that delivers 47hp of power and 52Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle gets disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. It is available in six colour schemes – silver spectre, mark three, and orange crush is priced at Rs 2,64,919, while the baker express & ravishing red is available for Rs 2,72,806. The glitter and dust colour schemes are offered at a price of Rs 2,85,951, ex-showroom.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Braking and Safety
Braking on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is taken care with the help of a 320mm disc brake up front along with a 240mm disc brake at the rear. A dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) comes as standard that minimises chances of skidding. The bike also gets AHO (Automatic Headlamp ON) function and as the name suggests, the headlamps always stays ON in order to enhance the visbility of the bike to minimise chances of a mishap.

The motorcycle is fitted with a 13.7-litres fuel tank. The BS6 Interceptor 650’s claimed mileage has not been revealed by the company. However, the fuel gauge is known to be quite erratic.
