Jawa Perak
After a long wait, Classic Legends has launched the highly awaited Jawa Perak in India. The final production ready model, that is also BS6 compliant has been launched at a price of Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom). That said, this is an increase of Rs 6,000 compared to the price when the Perak was showcased for the first time alongside the Forty Two and Jawa Classic. Bookings for the Perak will begin in January 2020 and the deliveries are promised in April 2020. Powering the motorcycle is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed transmission, good for churning out respective power and torque outputs of 30hp and 31Nm. The bike has no direct competition at the moment, which can turn out to be its big bonus point.

Jawa Perak Braking and Safety
Braking on the Jawa Perak is taken care of with the help of a 280mm disc brake up front along with a single 240mm disc brake at the rear. A dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) comes as standard with the motorcycle for added safety.

In real world riding conditions, the Jawa Perak should offer a fuel efficiency of close to 30 kmpl. That said, with its 14-litre fuel tank, the bike should deliver a range of close to 350 km once you fill it up upto its brim.
