The Tata Nexon EV is soon to get a revamped competitor in the market, the XUV 3XO. Soon to replace the XUV400, the 3XO has been spotted with minimal camouflage. The earlier spottings of the 3XO EV were under heavy camouflage, however this time, more design elements are shown. Let’s take a closer look.

Mahindra XUX 3XO EV — How different is it compared to the ICE version?

For starters, the overall design is similar, something customers will appreciate because the 3XO, despite a lot of design elements, has come together well. The 3XO EV follows a similar design language, but with unique elements to make it stand out as an EV.

The electric SUV gets reworked front and rear bumpers while the front grille has been reworked as well, along with the air dams for better cooling of the battery pack. The alloy wheels will also be different compared to its ICE sibling. One thing Mahindra has carried forward are the rose gold touches from the XUV400.

Mahindra XUX 3XO EV — Battery specifications

Powering the new Mahindra XUV 3XO EV could be the same battery packs as the XUV400 — 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh battery packs. They offer a range of 375km and 456km, respectively and we are yet to see if Mahindra further tweaks the drivetrain for better performance or range. When launched, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV’s primary competitor will be the Tata Nexon EV.
