Tata Motors is offering attractive offers on the Nexon EV. This could be a ripple effect of the recently launched Curvv EV, which starts from Rs 17.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The timing does suggest so and this could be a good time to buy a Nexon EV as the company has further increased the benefits. However, it is important to remember that these discounts may differ across dealerships.
Tata Nexon EV: August Discount
Tata Motors has upped the discount game with the Nexon EV offering massive deals up to Rs 1.80 lakh. The EV’s top-of-the-line Empowered+ LR range comes with a maximum rebate of up to Rs 1.80 lakh which is Rs 50,000 more than the previous offer. The entry-level Creative+ MR is Rs 20,000 off while the Fearless MR and Fearless +MR variants get a flat Rs 1 lakh discount and the Empowered has Rs 1.2 lakh off.Â
The Indian automobile manufacturer giving out better deals on the long-range lineup up with the Fearless range receiving Rs 1.2 lakh, which is Rs 50,000 more than the previous benefits. Both the Empowered +LR and Dark Empowered +LR offer a whopping Rs 1.80 lakh worth of benefits.
For MY23 Nexon EV models, there’s an additional Rs 25,000 in all the trims.
Tata Nexon EV: Specs and Price
The Nexon EV is available in two battery packs — 30 kWh and 40.5 kWh. The entry-level version or medium range (MR) has an output of 127 bhp and 215 Nm. It does 0-100 kmph in 9.2 seconds. The top model or long-range (LR) churns 143 bhp and 215 Nm and does 0-100 kmph in 8.9 seconds. According to Tata Motors, the Nexon has a driving range of 465 km. It is priced from Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 19.29 lakh, ex-showroom.
