Maruti Suzuki Fronx hybrid
The Fronx will be the most affordable strong hybrid model in the Indian market. It will be Maruti Suzuki’s third avatar after the Grand Vitara and the Invicto. Based on the spy images, the Fronx will sport a hybrid badge on the tailgate. It is expected to be powered by the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which made its debut with the Swift last year.

Based on the limited details we have, the new hybrid system with have an engine which will act as a generator and recharge the battery. The electric motor, on the other hand, will power the wheels.Â
2025 Hyundai Venue
Hyundai plans to launch the next-generation Venue by the end of 2025. The compact SUV is expected to be on the lines of the company’s global design language, ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, which the current Creta sports. It will come with split headlamps, cube-shaped LED headlights, a parametric grille, a new set of alloy wheels and horizontal tail lamps with connected LED lights. The new Venue will retain the current three powertrains — the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel.

Tata Punch facelift
Tata Punch was the best-selling vehicle in 2024 clocking over 2 lakh units. The internal combustion engine version of the micro SUV will be receiving much-needed updates. The 2025 model is expected to receive new headlights with new LED DLRs, a front grille, revised bumpers, and new alloy wheels. The cabin is expected to get a bigger infotainment system and new interiors. It will retain the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which will be available with two transmission options — a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.

Mahindra 3X0 EV
It is an open secret, but Mahindra is working on the 3X0 EV, which will be a sub-4 metre vehicle that will be placed below the XUV400. It will be the most affordable EV in the Mahindra lineup. It is expected to borrow the 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh battery options from the XUV400 with a driving range of 375km and 456km, respectively.
