Tata Motors has updated the Punch lineup by deleting some slow-selling variants and adding some new variants. The micro SUV is now available in a total of 22 variants which are priced between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.20 lakh (both ex-showroom). As many as 10 variants have been removed from the Punch lineup, all belonging to the Camo edition.
Tata Punch Camo discontinued
The Camo edition of Punch was introduced in September 2022, on the mid-spec Adventure and Accomplished trims. Punch Camo wore a Foliage Green exterior paint that came with dual-tone options featuring black or white roofs. Inside, the Punch Camo got a dashboard wrapped in military green while the seats wore a camouflage upholstery.
The variants discontinued include Camo Adventure MT, Camo Adventure Rhythm MT, Camo Adventure AMT, Camo Accomplished MT, Camo Adventure Rhythm AMT, Camo Accomplished Dazzle MT, Camo Accomplished AMT, Camo Accomplished Dazzle AMT, Camo Creative dual-tone, and Camo Creative Flagship MT dual-tone.
Tata Punch variants added
Tata has added three new variants namely Creative MT, Creative Flagship MT, and Creative AMT with prices ranging from Rs 8.85, Rs 9.60 lakh, and Rs 9.45 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively. The Creative Flagship trim gets a dual-tone exterior paint scheme as standard while the one-down Creative trims get the dual-tone paint option only on the variants equipped with an electric sunroof, ie. the Creative DT SR.
Tata Punch specs & features
Powering Tata Punch is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 87 bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Punch is also available in a CNG derivative where the same engine, mated exclusively to a 5-speed manual gearbox, produces 72.5 bhp and 103 Nm of torque.
In terms of features, Punch offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, rear view camera, and cruise control. Safety features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defoggers, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX anchors.
