Right after the Tata Curvv ICE was spotted testing in India, patent images of the Curvv reveal more details about its design, showcasing a futuristic coupe. The Curvv was showcased in its concept form earlier and its close-to-ready version has been on tests, while the Curvv will be offered in ICE and all-electric versions.
The design reveals that the Tata Curvv will stay as close to the concept as possible, with a split grille up front, and vertical air dams similar to the new Harrier and Safari, retaining a familiar family look in the Tata range. Towards the rear, the sloping roofline is what stands out, making the Curvv the first SUV coupe in the segment that consists of the Creta, Seltos, and others.
As Tata has confirmed earlier, the Curvv will be available in an all-electric form first, followed by ICE versions. The Curvv is expected to get two battery pack options like the other EVs in the lineup, while the ICE version will consist of a petrol and diesel engine, possibly with a DCT option.
The Tata Curvv will enter production in April this year, followed by its launch soon after. The Curvv’s primary rivals, the Creta and the Seltos also saw an update, with both getting ADAS features. Expect Tata to price the Curvv competitively in the market, as this is a highly populated segment.
