New spy shots of Kia Carnival facelift: India launch in 2024

2024 Kia Carnival ditches the conservative MPV look for an aggressive road presence.

Kia India is planning to bring back the Carnival and before the official launch of the MPV, new spy images have resurfaced in South Korea. The Carnival made its debut in India at the 2020 Auto Expo but due to lack of demand, the South Korean manufacturer pulled the plug on the Carnival this year. The Carnival facelift is expected to re-enter the Indian market in 2024.

2024 Kia Carnival: What’s new in design?

Kia has completely reworked the front fascia of the 2024 Carnival. The new big in-your-face front all-black front grille sports chrome studs which gives it an aggressive look. The lower bumper area that houses the air dam is bigger in size and the skid plate gets metal garnishing.

From the side, the Carnival’s profile remains the same but it now gets new alloy wheels and a chrome finish C-pillar. The rear design retains connected LED tail lamps with upside-down L-shaped lights. The bumper gets a combination of black and chrome finish. Based on the sky images, top variants are expected to come with twin sunroofs and roof rails.

2024 Kia Carnival: Interiors and Features

The 2024 Carnival is expected to get a revamped cabin with a new dashboard and a dual-screen infotainment and instrument cluster. The Carnival continue to offer multiple seating options and brand-new seats. The Carnival is expected to be launched in India next year and will go toe-to-toe against the ever-popular Toyota Innova Hycross, Maruti Suzuki Invicto and Toyota Vellfire.
