Audi will introduce the third generation Q3 globally on June 16. The German marque has confirmed the same by officially announcing the date and sharing a teaser of the upcoming entry-level luxury SUV. While the current second-gen Q3 made its international debut back in 2018, it only went on sale in India in 2022.
New-gen Audi Q3 teased: Design details
Audi has dropped two teaser images of the upcoming Q3. The first image partially reveals the sharp front profile of the car with a prominent hood line, a clamshell bonnet, and a flared circular wheel arch. The sleek A-pillar is complemented by strong fender lines. The second image focuses on the brand new split LED headlamp cluster.

The main headlamp has moved below, housed within the reprofiled bumper whereas the LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and indicators are on top of the headlights. The highlights is the pixelated treatment of the DRLs. No other details of the new Q3 have been revealed yet. We expect a few more teasers coming our way before the new-gen Q3 makes its debut.
New-gen Audi Q3: Other expected details
The third-gen Q3 is expected to continue with Volkswagen Group’s MQB Evo platform that also underpins the likes of Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq. Like the outgoing model, the upcoming Q3 will also be available in two forms — standard and Sportback. It is expected to come to India sometime in 2026.
The new-gen Q3 is expected to carry over the same a 2-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine as the current model that produces 187 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. This motor is mated exclusively to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Power is sent to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. In select markets, the Q3 will also be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain option.
