The fifth most affordable 5-star rated GNCAP vehicle is the Skoda Kushaq, priced at Rs 10.89 lakh onwards. The Kushaq secures a five-star safety rating for adult protection, securing 29.64 points out of 34, while scoring 42 points out of 49 for child protection, earning it a full five-star rating again.
Tata Nexon
In fourth place is the Tata Nexon, which has seen a major update in design, borrowing cues from the Tata Curvv concept. The Nexon gets a 5-star safety rating for adult protection and a 3-star rating for child protection. The new Nexon has seen further tweaks done to the platform to make it safer in side impact tests as well. The Tata Nexon facelift is now priced at Rs 8.09 lakh onwards.

The Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in India to secure a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP for adult protection, while also being awarded a 3-star rating for child occupancy. Priced at Rs 6.59 lakh onwards, the Altroz is powered by a petrol or diesel engine, while there is a CNG choice as well.
Tata Punch
The most affordable 5-star rated vehicle on sale in India today is the Tata Punch, the company’s entry-level SUV offering that competes primarily with the Hyundai Exter. Priced at Rs 5.99 lakh onwards, the Punch receives a 5-star rating for adult occupancy and a 4-star rating for child occupancy.
