The Kushaq secures a five-star safety rating for adult protection, securing 29.64 points out of 34, while scoring 42 points out of 49 for child protection, earning it a full five-star rating again.
Tata Nexon

In fourth place is the Tata Nexon, which has seen a major update in design, borrowing cues from the Tata Curvv concept. The Nexon gets a 5-star safety rating for adult protection and a 3-star rating for child protection. The Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in India to secure a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP for adult protection, while also being awarded a 3-star rating for child occupancy. Priced at Rs 6.59 lakh onwards, the Altroz is powered by a petrol or diesel engine, while there is a CNG choice as well.
Tata Punch

The most affordable 5-star rated vehicle on sale in India today is the Tata Punch, the company’s entry-level SUV offering that competes primarily with the Hyundai Exter. Priced at Rs 5.99 lakh onwards, the Punch receives a 5-star rating for adult occupancy and a 4-star rating for child occupancy.
