The all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to debut in November. As the most successful sedan in the Indian market, it has undergone a significant design overhaul to differentiate it from its hatchback counterpart, the Swift. The Dzire will feature an upgraded interior with new features, including a single-panel sunroof for the first time. It will be equipped with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E engine, delivering 80 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 111.7 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. Buyers will have the option of two transmission types: a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

Another popular compact sedan set to introduce its next-generation model is the Honda Amaze. The all-new Amaze will be built on the same platform as the City and the Elevate, featuring entirely new interiors and exteriors. Although Honda has kept many details of the new sedan under wraps, it is expected to include a sunroof, similar to the upcoming Dzire.

The Amaze is also anticipated to offer enhanced features, such as a larger and more intuitive infotainment display and a 360-degree camera. Like the Dzire, the Amaze will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine currently produces 88.5 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. The vehicle will maintain two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.

The Kylaq will be Skoda India’s entry-level budget vehicle and its first sub-4 meter SUV. The official unveiling is scheduled for November 6. Built on the MQB A0 IN platform, similar to the Kushaq and Slavia, the Kylaq will feature a 1-litre turbo petrol engine producing 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. It will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission. As a made-in-India SUV, deliveries are expected to begin in 2025.

Kia is in no mood to step off the throttle as it is working on a second compact SUV that could be slotted between the Sonet and the Seltos. According to reports, the new SUV will be powered by a petrol engine and offer an EV version. Based on the spy images, this front-wheel-drive vehicle will be packed with modern features like a twin digital screen on the dashboard, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, front ventilated seats and even ADAS safety.

The 3X0 EV will closely resemble its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart and will be a sub-4-metre vehicle. Mahindra is likely to sell both the 3X0 EV and the larger XUV400 simultaneously. The 3X0 will feature minor design updates to differentiate it from the ICE version. In terms of battery options, it is expected to come with an entry-level 34.5 kWh battery pack. The XUV400 will also be equipped with this battery pack, providing a range of 359 km based on the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC).
