MG Comet EV
MG has broken conventions with its compact two-door Comet EV. Initially met with scepticism, the car quickly proved its practicality. It features a spacious cabin, modern amenities, and easy access to the rear seating. Powered by a 17.3 kWh battery, it delivers an output of 41 bhp and 110 Nm of torque, with a driving range of 230 km. The Comet EV can be charged using a 3.3 kW AC charger or a 7.2 kWh charger. The former battery takes 7 hours to fully charge while the latter takes only 3 hours.

Tata Tiago EV
The Tata Tiago EV is an electric version of the popular four-door hatchback and is the most affordable EV in Tata Motors’ lineup. It comes in two battery options: 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. The entry-level battery offers 61 bhp and 110 Nm of torque, claiming a driving range of 250 km, while the larger battery provides 75 bhp and 114 Nm, with a top range of 315 km. Additionally, the Tiago EV features a Sport mode.

Tata Punch EV
The Tata Punch EV, the first vehicle based on Tata Motors’ new Acti EV platform, is a compact SUV available in two battery configurations: 25 kWh with a range of 315 km and 35 kWh with a claimed range of 421 km. The 25 kWh version produces 80 bhp and 114 Nm, while the top variant delivers 121 bhp and 190 Nm. Using a DC fast charger, it can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 56 minutes.

Citroen e-C3
The Citroen e-C3 is the fourth most affordable electric vehicle in the market. This hatchback is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery, generating 56 bhp and 143 Nm of torque. It boasts a driving range of 320 km. With a DC fast charger, the e-C3 can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 57 minutes and offers two driving modes: Eco and Standard.
