TVS Motor Company has just teased its awaited scooter, the spy images of which have been doing rounds on the internet for the last few weeks. The scooter takes its design cues from Graphite concept that was showcased at Auto Expo 2014. The company has issued a teaser video in which the LED tail lamp of the scooter is visible and the background is supported by a throaty exhaust note. A few days back, a walkaround video of the TVS Graphite based scooter had surfaced on the internet, revealing some interesting details. As seen in the video, the new TVS scooter will come with a fully digital instrument cluster and many interesting features to have an edge over its competition.
The new TVS scooter will most likely get its power from a 125cc engine mated to a CVT gearbox. The power and torque figures are not available at the moment. The company’s flagship scooter will come with a disc brake up front to have a decent stopping power. The spy images also suggested that the new TVS scooter will also come with alloy wheels. Besides, DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) can also be expected in the headlamp section that has been fitted in the apron to offer a sporty look. The turning winkers are present at the headlamp cowl.
