The third edition of Fibers & Yarns Expo scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th April 2008 at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai, will be inaugurated by Dr JN Singh, joint secretary (ministry of textiles).

Fibers & Yarns Expo organised by Tecoya Infotech is only trade show of its kind in South Asia, which is now regarded to be a very vibrant meeting, marketing and networking forum for the Indian textile industry, said in a release.

Indian and overseas fibre and yarn spinners will unveil their latest collection of fibers and yarns and their end products such as suitings, shirtings, knitwears, home textiles and apparels made from natural fibers such as banana, milk, soya & bamboo and anti-microbial, water-repellant and flame-retardant fibres and yarns made from silver, viscose, nylon, and polyester.

Leading companies from India such as Alok Industries, Century Enka, Gokak Textiles, GTN Group, Ramco Group, Reliance, RSWM, Siyaram, Spentex, Super Spg., Vardhman and Winsome will exhibit at the expo. Leading overseas exhibitors like Invista from USA; Lenzing AG from Austria, Waxman Fibers from UK and China Soyabean Protein Fibre, China Textile Resource, Dezhou Huayuan Eco-Tech and HeBei Jigao Chemical Fibre Co from China will also be participating in the exhibition.
