Dhoni has been the force behind CSK. Though he didn’t do much with the bat this season, but the craze remains unreal for ‘Mahi’. Posts after posts on Twitter and other social media platforms showed how CSK fans turned the Narendra Modi Stadium into a ‘sea of yellow’.

What a wonderful season it was!
Kevin Pietersen took to Twitter to seek clarity on Ahmedabad weather. Many are saying that it's a storm passing over Motera. There has been no letup in rains as of now.
We thought we are watching clips from the evening! but that wasn't the case. Alas, the rains have returned and now everyone is talking about reserve day! What are you thinking?
What happens if the match starts after 9:35 cutoff? Well, here's the deal. In case the match starts by 9:45 pm, it will be a 19 overs per side match. In case, the IPL 2023 finale starts at 10:00 pm, it will be 17 overs per side match and in case it begins at 10:15 pm, the match will be reduced to 15 over per side.
Everyone's hearts were sinking as the IPL finals stared at 9:35 pm cutoff! But here's a good news from Motera! Rain has stopped, finally! The umpires are discussing the next steps with Pandya and Dhoni. As of now, we know this for sure – toss for CS vs GT IPL Final will take place anytime now
Thundershower over Motera turned into a drizzle for a while before turning into a full downpour again! It's frustrating and agonizing to see these twists. Lets hope for the best!
Yeah, we know it's raining and we know we all have been praying for it to stop. But guess what GT think. Check this out!

Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming took to twitter to express his gratitude to all CSK fans for all the support in this season. He said that the love for DHoni is one thing but to see that sea of yellow is simply 'amazing'.
The IPL qualifier between GT and MI saw similar scenes but there was full 20 over match that day also. So, hope floats!
Meanwhile, a big update on Asia Cup! Yeah, there's more to world of cricket than IPL! So, as many of you know, there has been a lot of consultation going on between India and Pakistan cricket boards regarding Asia Cup 2023. An Indian Express report says that BCCI has said that they will not back the hybrid model suggested by PCB. BCCI secy Jay Shah ha said that an announcement will be made sometime after the IPL 2023 finals.
Though there were some reports that the rains have stopped at Narendra Modi Stadium but the ground reality is bit different. The puddles have gone deeper and the pitch is looking more like a swimming pool right now! And it just doesn't stop with end of rain!. Ground staff will have a lot of work to make it playable again.
This is the latest update from Motera. Even if the rain continues for over an hour, there is a cutoff today. Not a single over will be deducted and it will be a full 20 over game if the match starts by 9:35 pm. In case, the weather doesn't improve even after this cutoff, officials will have to take some tough decisions.
Shubhman Gill, the Gujarat Titans opener, has been phenomenal this season of IPL. He is leading the Orange Cap race with 800+ runs right now. But can he surpass Virat Kohli to become the batter to score more than 900 runs in one season of IPL? For this to happen, Gill will need to smash as glittering knock of 123 or more to overtake King Kohli.
Latest reports say that rain hasn't stopped till now. Puddles in the middle and lots of gusty wind at Motera right now. As far as the cutoff is concerned, the deadline is 10:10 pm.
Hardik Pandya has appeared in five IPL finale so far and has never lots. This is his sixth IPL finale appearance. This is a formidable record. Can he maintain this record tonight?
It's pouring in Ahmedabad right now! 'Passing shower,' say an expert. There's excellent drainage at Narendra Modi Stadium. So, we will hear good news soon!
In case Gujarat Titans win today's match, they will the third team in the history of IPL to win the tournament title on the trot.
Wil he, won't he! This IPL, one of the main point the conversation has been Dhoni's retirement. But right now, we have just got the confirmation that a CSK player has announced retirement from IPL and no it's not DHONI! Ambati Rayudu has said that IPL 2023 will be his last ahead of the final clash vs GT. He took to Twitter to make the announcement.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been the Chennai Super Kings captain for longest time, is one of the best players not only in IPL but around the world of cricket! Whether he retires today or not, Dhoni is on track to make some really cool records. CSK is appearing in the IPL finals for the 10h time. So far, they have won the title for four times. If they beat Gujarat Titans today, they would equalize Mumbai India's record of 5 titles win. When Dhoni walks out in at the Narendra Modi Stadium today, this will be the 250th appearance of 'Mahi'. CSK skipper is the only IPL player to achieve this milestone.
In a scenario when the first ball has been bowled after the toss and it starts raining, in that case, match will resume from that very point next day.
We saw it during GT vs MI match and today's forecast has also predicted chances of light showers. In case today's finale is washed out then it will be played on Monday, which has been reserved for such emergency. If the match is postponed till Monday, it will begin at 8:00 pm. If it rains tomorrow as well, IPL officials have allotted 120 minutes as extra time to tackle this situation.

Like Orange Cap is for top run-getter, Purple Cap is the title for bolwer that got most wciket in one edition of IPL. In this season, top three spots have gone to Gujarat Titans. Md Shami leads the race with 28 wickets. He game 493 runs at an economy rate of 7.

There's buzz surrounding a Bollywood star but nothing has been confirmed as of now.
In the last match when CSK took on GT, the IPL playoff match 71 saw Dhoni & co beating GT by 15 runs.
If we look at the past matches played between CSK and GT, the Titans have a clear edge over the IPL veterans. In total, CSK and GT have faced each other for four times. Out of these, Hardi Pandya-led Gujarat Titans have won three games, whereas Dhoni's CSK have won just one match
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis has reportedly precited that Chennai Super Kings will win the IPl 2023 grand finale!
Sam Curran: Punjab Kings broke the bank to buy Curran for Rs 18.25 crore. He led the team to vitory as stand-in captain in one of the league matches. But that's that! Curran made 216 runs in entore season. His bowling was sub-par. He took seven wickets in 12 games at an eco rate of 10.21
Harry Brook – Sunrisers Hyderabad had a terrible season this year as they ended at the bottom of the points table. Brook, who was bought by the franchise for Rs 13.35 crore. Except for that one century against Kolkata Knight Riders, Brook's explosive batting remained out of sight for most of the league matches.
