China condemns US move to revoke semiconductor waivers for Intel, Samsung, SK Hynix
China's Ministry of Commerce has criticized the US for revoking "validated end-user" authorizations for three semiconductor companies, saying it disrupts global supply chains. The US has revoked waivers for South Korean chipmakers Samsung and SK Hynix, granted under the VEU system, in an effort to tighten export controls and protect American companies.
