With the conclusion of this phase, polling has been completed in 486 seats across 28 states and Union territories. The last phase of polling will be on June 1, and vote counting will be on June 4.

The state, which sends the highest number of 80 MPs to the Lok Sabha, has already seen voting on 53 seats in the first five phases, with the remaining 13 seats scheduled to vote in the seventh phase on June 1. Vote counting for all seven phases is set for June 4.
Chief Electoral Officer Maharashtra, in a post on X, “It is noticed that some old video from other states are getting circulated through social media showing miscreants trying to vitiate the poll process and particularly tampering with EVM. A voter turnout of 37.23 per cent was recorded till 1 pm in Uttar Pradesh where polling is underway across 14 constituencies. Polling began at 7 am and will end at 6 pm. Among the constituencies, Ambedkar Nagar registered the highest turnout at 41.59 per cent, followed by Basti at 40.07 per cent, Sultanpur at 38.42 per cent, Azamgarh at 38.37 per cent, Lalganj at 38.12 per cent, and Domariaganj at 37.64 per cent.
Jaunpur recorded a turnout of 37.41 per cent, Machhlishahar at 37.36 per cent, Shrawasti at 36.74 per cent, Pratapgarh at 36.01 percent, Bhadohi at 35.82 per cent, Allahabad at 34.06 per cent, and Phulpur at 33.05 per cent. The polling percentage in the Gainsari assembly bypoll was 37.59 per cent.
West Bengal recorded a voter turnout of 54.80 percent by 1 pm in the eight Lok Sabha constituencies that went to polls in the sixth phase on Saturday, according to an official.
Polling started at 7 am in Tamluk, Kanthi, Ghatal, Jhargram, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura, and Bishnupur constituencies. Bishnupur (SC) witnessed the highest polling at 58.64 per cent, followed by Tamluk (57.64 per cent), Ghatal (57.31 per cent), Jhargram (ST) (56.95 per cent), Bankura (54.21 per cent), Kanthi (51.66 per cent), Medinipur (51.57 per cent), and Purulia (50.34 per cent). A total of 1,45,34,228 voters – 73,63,273 men, 71,70,822 women, and 133 belonging to the third gender – are eligible to exercise their franchise in 15,600 polling stations.
Of the 79 candidates in the fray, Bankura and Jhargram have the highest number of 13 contestants each, followed by Purulia (12) and nine each in Medinipur and Tamluk. Seven candidates each are contesting in the Bishnupur and Ghatal seats.

The Lok Sabha election voting is taking place in multiple phases across various parliamentary constituencies. The first phase, held on April 19, encompassed 102 constituencies, with a voter turnout of 66.14%. This was followed by the second phase on April 26, covering 89 constituencies, where the turnout was recorded at 66.71%. The third phase, conducted on May 7 across 94 parliamentary constituencies, witnessed a turnout of 65.68%. Subsequently, the fourth phase on May 13 involved 96 parliamentary constituencies, with a final turnout of 69.16%. The fifth phase, which took place on May 20, encompassed 49 parliamentary constituencies across six states and two Union Territories, recording a turnout of 62.2%. Results will to be announced on June 4.
