Lok Sabha Election 2024 Haryana Results 2024 Highlights: It is a tie in Haryana as the BJP and the Congress have bagged 5 seats each in an intense fight right till the end. While Congress made a marvellous comeback from zero seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections to five in 2024, the BJP couldn’t replicate its 2019 performance wherein it secured all 10 seats. INC’s Varun Chaudhry with 293744 votes is in the lead by a margin of 26950 votes in the Ambala constituency while BJP‘s Banto Kataria with 266794 votes is trailing: ECI data.
INDIA Bloc’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which contested on one seat – Kurukshetra in Haryana, is now trailing after enjoying an early lead with its candidate Sushil Gupta. BJP‘s Naveen Jindal is now leading with a margin of just 556 votes: ECI data.

INDIA Bloc including Congress contesting on nine seats and Aam Aadmi Party on one seat is currently leading on 7 seats while BJP is leading on 3 seats, as per the latest trends reported by News18.

Ambala, Karnal, Sonipat and Hisar are four seats currently led by the BJP, as per early trends in the counting of votes underway for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. AAP is currently leading in Kurukshetra.
Based on the first trends in postal ballot votes across 10 seats in the state, the BJP and Congress both are leading on 4 seats each, according to News18.
Counting of votes has started across 10 constituencies of Haryana including Ambala, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Hisar, Karnal, Sonipat, Rohtak, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Gurgaon, and Faridabad.
Congress candidate from Rohtak Deepender Singh Hooda: “Not just Rohtak, but Congress and INDIA alliance are heading towards a victory in all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. I am confident that I will win with a huge margin in Rohtak.” (PTI)
Going by the exit polls for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP may not clinch victory across all 10 constituencies. Unlike the 2019 elections, the ruling party may have to settle with 6-8 seats while the remaining is expected to be captured by the INDIA Bloc including the Congress and AAP.
223 candidates contested for the 10 seats in Haryana, of which 207 were men and 16 were women. Key candidates from the BJP were former CM Manohar Lal Khattar (Karnal), union ministers Rao Inderjit Singh (Gurugram) and Krishan Pal Gurjar (Faridabad) while the Congress had stalwarts Kumari Selja (Sirsa) and Deepender Singh Hooda (Rohtak).
The counting of votes in Haryana for 10 Lok Sabha constituencies will begin at 8 AM today across 91 centres. According to a PTI report quoting Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapur, more than 10,000 police personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth operations at the counting centres.
Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha election results today, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said he is confident of “a one-sided majority to PM Modi”. Saini told ANI the Modi government has met the expectations of the people in the last 10 years. “Only the announcement is pending, the country has given a one-sided majority to PM Modi.”
